Theatre show in Adelaide
The members of the Bhutanese Youth Group (BYG) have made a first theatre show in at Twelve25 Youth Centre in Salisbury South Australia on Saturday.
Over 45 other members of the Bhutanese and non-Bhutanese communities, especially young ones, attended the show as audience.
The show was the culmination of the theatre training the young people were taking from Urban Myth Youth Theatre under the joint project of Bhutanese Australian Association of South Australia (BAASA) and STTARS and funded by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC).
The young people, encouraged by the show have said they would continue with their endeavour with theatre performances. They plan to have a big show in future.
The Urban Myth Youth Theatre has expressed willingness to support the Bhutanese youth project and work together to produce a quality output.
