World Cup trophy coming to Bhutan

Bhutan will have special opportunity to see World Cup Trophy in their own land this year as trophy tour goes around the world. The trophy is travelled around the world a year before World Cup Football.

The football’s top prize will arrive Bhutan as part of world tour in December third week, sponsored by CocaCola.

The prize made out of 5kg of 18-carat gold will cover 88 countries across the globe over a period of nine months.

After a three-day visit to Bangladesh, the trophy will travel to Bhutan, Nepal and then to India before heading to Thailand.
