Mild earthquake felt in Bhutan
A mild earthquake was felt in Bhutan on Wednesday (November 4) at around 6 PM Bhutan time.
According to USGS records, the earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter Scale was felt in all north Bengal (India) districts and Bhutan.
There was no report of any casualty or damage to property in the quake. Home Minister Damcho Dorji, in his Facebook page, mentioned the cabinet meeting was adjourned for five minutes due to the earthquake jolts.
The epicentre of the quake was 20km below ground at Tufangunj along the Bihar-Bengal border at 26.5 degree north and 88.2 degree west.
