Friendship soccer in Hobart

Druk Sporting Club of Hobart has hosted a Friendship Soccer Tournament in Hobart today (5 April).
The tournament is part of the preparation to participate in the Bhutanese Interstate Soccer Carnival 2014 schedule to be held in Sydney in July. Hobart’s team was one of the best teams of the second Bhutanese Interstate Soccer Carnival 2013 held in Adelaide.
Six teams are participating at the tournament. The participating teams include a combined team from Albury/Woodonga/Melbourne, two teams from Launceston Youths and Sporting Club, a team from Bhutanese Kirat/Buddhist Association of Tasmania in Launceston, a team from host Druk Sporting Club and a team representing Bhutanese Community Association of South Tasmania (BCAST).
The tournament is underway while this news is being published.
Finals are scheduled for tomorrow. Two girls team representing Launceston and Hobart Bhutanese communities will be playing an exhibition before the final game.
