A documentary on exiled Bhutanese from UK
Community organisation of Bhutanese in UK’s Manchester city Takin Association UK has unveiled a new documentary on exiled Bhutanese titled ‘A Heart Divided’.
The documentary is directed by Nicole Hoellerer, a Ph.D student at Brunel University London and Manoj Bajgai. The director was honoured on the launched ceremony.
She was actively engaged in producing similar documentary called ‘Life Beginning’ in 2011.
Addressing the launch ceremony, association’s chairperson Lok Bajgai said this has been a wonderful experience punctuated by a stimulating interest.
The one hour long movie tells the story of Bhutanese experiences in Bhutan, camps and life after resettlement in the UK.
