NC consults OAG

The Natural Resources & Environment Committee of the National Council held a consultation session with the office of the attorney general.

The meeting was conducted to focus on the involvement of the Office of Attorney General (OAG) while drafting the Bio-Safety Bill at the initial stage.

The Committee has said it is conducting a one-on-one session with various stakeholders to seek their views and concerns on the Bill to thrash out differences and to extend their knowledge on the Bill. Accordingly, a detailed legal feedback on the Bio-Safety Bill was submitted to the Committee by the official from OAG.
