47 students passed SLC this year from camps

This year too, performance of the Bhutanese refugee student at the School Leaving Certificate (SLC), did not improve – only 23.3 per cent passed.

According to information given by Caritas Nepal, that looks after the educaiton of Bhutanese refugees, of the 201 students, who appeared SLC this year, only 47 got passed. Four of them passed in first division, 35 of them in second division and eight in third division.

The Bhutanese refugees have been attending the SLC exams since 1992.
