Tobgay travelling to India for informal visit
Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay is travelling to India on Friday to attend a conclave in Goa and meet some Indian leaders.
Since this is not an official visit, Tobgay is not expected to hold talks with top leaders of the country. He was invited to attend ‘India Ideas Conclave’ by India Foundation as chief guest of the event.
He will address the conclave on November 15 where the theme is ‘Learning from Civilisation’.
While in Goa, he will meet Indian Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, Goa Governor Mridul Sinha and Goa Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar, said a release from the Indian External Affairs Ministry.
