British royals arrive Bhutan
King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuk has met with the visiting British royals Prince William and Princess Kate on Thursday afternoon.
The two royal couples met at the Tashichodzong, the headquarters of the Bhutanese government and the royals. Following the meeting, the British couple participated and enjoyed Bhutanese archery at Changlimithang ground.
The British royals arrived Bhutan today in a special Druk Air flight from Assam. Princess Chimi Yangzom Wangchuck received them at the Paro International Airport at around 10 in the morning.
The royal couple was then escorted to Thimphu.
Later in the evening, the British royals will attend a private dinner hosted by Bhutanese monarch in honour of the Duke and Duchess at the Lingkana Palace.
Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton will also hike to Taktshang in Paro on their second day in country.
Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess will be on a two-day visit to Bhutan.
