Gautam is Bhutanese Australian of the Year 2018

Long time community volunteer Chitra Khar Gautam has been awarded the Bhutanese Australian of the Year 2018 amidst a special function organised in Adelaide to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the resettlement of Bhutanese in exile.

The award established by Radio Pahichan in 2017 aimed at recognising the Bhutanese talents, service and contribution of the community members in constructive community engagement.

Gautam has contributed in community service for last several years. He is always one of the most active volunteer in all community activities and events hosted in South Australia.

    It should be Bhutanese Australian not Bhutan Australian.
