DNC observes foundation day

Members of Druk National Congress celebrates the Party’s 25th Foundation Day at Kathmandu on June 16, 2019.

Gedun Choephel, President of the Party, remarked “we reiterate our commitment for the establishment of genuine democracy in the country. Braving to continue to suffer and sacrifice”.

He also says the recent civil servants pay raise by the DNT government is an attempt to appease the Civil servants for vote bank politics but doesn’t alleviate the overall wellbeing of common man. The pay rise will only widen the gap in have and have not.

He also question why does Royal Annuities Bill evade every parliament session? The Bhutanese people have a right to know how much of the tax payers’ money is spend for the upkeep of the Monarchy.

He offered Tashi Delek to Bhutanese citizens on the occasion of Party foundation day celebration.
